So, I'm shocked we've somehow missed this one, especially with Joe's generous contributions to pop culture and video-journalism. But alas, the mastermind behind the Girls Gone Wild series has landed himself in some seriously hot tax water.
Allegedly, Joe deducted $20 million in fraudulent expenses on his business tax return. For this he will be appearing in L.A. court in September to make his defense. Mr. Francis' plan? Blame the accountant. Ah... always the accountant's fault. Whether this defense will hold any water remains to be seen, but we'll definitely keep you up-to-date as the story evolves!
