Tax Term of the Week


Licensed Taxpayer Representative- an individual who is licensed to practice before the IRS and solve someone's tax problems under Circular 230. They do not practice law, nor do they certify accounting practices. The LTR is the client's representative before the taxing authorities (IRS). They use their years of experience and vast know-how to effectively advocate on their clients behalf.
